Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central provides check management for only companies own checks where the checks are to be promptly be paid.

On the other hand in many countries, post dated checks and promissory notes are widely used payment instruments. Companies are receiving post dated checks from their customers, transferring them to their vendors or sending them to banks to be collected or as guaranties for their loans. In addition, companies may issue their own post dated checks to their vendors and want to trace their payments. This brings the need to manage the portfolio of such checks and promissory notes.
